Sbisa joins in Lethbridge

The club General Manager Paul Holmgren of the Philadelphia Flyers told the media that the defenseman Luca Sbisa had joined the Lethbridge Hurricanes of the Western Hockey League. Luca joined Lethbridge for its game in Portland and Oregon.

This season the 19 guy has earned 7 assists and 36 penalth minutes in 39 games with the Flyers.His first career point was recorded on Oct.22,2008.Against the New York Rangers on Oct.11,in the first game of 2008-09 season, he beacame the fourth youngest Flyer and second youngest defenseman at 18 years,255 days.

Parse agrees to sign Kings

The Los Angeles Kings have agreed to sign a one-year contract with Scott Parse,announced by the President Dean Lombardi last Thursday.Parse was the club's sixth-round selection in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.

In 2007-08, his first full professional season, Parse appeared in 14 games for Manchester and 18 games for the ECHL's Reading Royals. After his senior season at the University of Nebraska-Omaha in March 2007,Parse joined the AHL's Grand Rapids Griffins and appeared in 10 regular season games.

Parse, recorded 39 points and 38 penalty minutes for the American Hockey League's Manchester Monarchs in 2008-09. His 39 points was fifth on Manchester, while his 15 goals were fourth on the team. Parse also held a plus-6 rating, which ranked second on the Monarchs.
